The 153rd birth anniversary of Kabikuloguru Rabindranath Thakur was celebrated on the auspicious dawn of ‘Pachisey Baisakh’ by ‘Khanan’, the creative Bengali Journal of Vidarbha and the recipient of legendary ‘Mahadiganta’ as well as ‘Premchand Munshi’ Awards, on Friday , the 9h of May 2014, at Rajaram Sitaram Dixit Library of Dharampeth, Nagpur 440 010, here.

The Kobipoksho special issue of ‘Khanan’, to be released during 153rd birth anniversary of Kabikuloguru Rabindranath Thakur on the auspicious dawn of ‘Pachishey Boisakh’ at 6.30 AM repeat 6.30 AM in the morning on Friday, the 9th May 2014 at Rajaram Sitaram Dixit Library, Dharampeth, here. The rich volume of Khanan, 34th of its kind, has ably been edited by Sukumar Choudhuri. This illustrious volume has been dedicated to the memory of Legendary artiste Prokash Karmokar and Marathi Poet Namdeo Dhasar who had left us in the recent past.

The 153rd birth annniversary of Kavikuloguru Rabindranath Thakur will be celebrated by ‘Khanan’, the creative Bengali journal of Vidarbha, on the dawn of auspicious ‘Pachisey Baisakh’ on Friday, May 9th 2014.

The programme will be held at sharp 6.30 AM in the morning Repeat 6.30 AM in the morning on Friday, May 9th 2014 at Rajaram Sitaram Dixit Library at Dharampeth, Nagpur – 440 010, here.

Besides Khanan associates and creative writers of the city, a galaxy of promising artistes will perform immortal Rabindra-Songs and will present divine creations of Rabindranath.

Mansinghdeo Wildlife Sanctuary

Area : 183 km2

Tourism route is about 40 km from Chorbahuli,32 km from Deolapar and 40 km from Saleghat

Mansinghdeo Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at 80 km from nagpur via kanhan Mansar and Chorbahuli.

Melghat Tiger Reserve

Melghat Tiger Reserve is know for Apart from wild animals like chitals,sambhar,tigers and leopards,MTR also has historical importance with Narnala fort being situated there.

Melghat Tiger Reserve is situated about 220 km from Nagpur.

It should be noted that there are unlimited vehicles are allowed daily.4 Gypsis service is available at Semadoh gate.And 2 from Shahnoor gate.

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Chandrapur, Maharashtra

Area : 625 km2

Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary

Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is know for harbour of wild range of insects and ant species. It has 29 species of mammals and 160 species of birds, besides 26 species of reptiles out of which 6 are endangered.

Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated about 190 km from Nagpur on NH7.

Bor Wildlife Sanctuary

Bor wildlife sanctuary is know for tiger, sloth bear, Leopard, Bison, deer, sambar, nilgais, wild boars, barking deer, and lots more. Bor dam itself is a beautiful site to watch.

Bor wildlife sanctuary is situated about 79 km form Nagpur city. The shortest route from Nagpur is via hingna, kawdas, hingni and Bor.
